Miami Gardens, FL – Hard Rock Stadium today named Ryan Davenport Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service with the Miami Open. He will oversee all ticket sales and service for the tennis tournament, including new season ticket sales, season ticket retention, group sales, luxury and suite sales. He reports to Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Jeremy Walls, who also leads the commercial efforts for the Miami Open.

In his most recent role, Davenport served as the Senior Director of Sales with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx. In that position, he was responsible for three of the organization’s sales departments, including inside sales, membership sales and premium seating, and helped yield the largest year over year percentage increase in NBA attendance in his first season.

He previously held roles as the first Director of Premium Seating in Major League Soccer’s New York City FC history, creating the on-field Pitchside Seating Club experience at Yankee Stadium. Davenport also served as Manager of Sales with the NFL’s New York Giants, responsible for establishing NFL records for total Personal Seat Licenses (PSLs) sold and revenue generated for MetLife Stadium. He began his career with the Indiana Pacers as an Account Executive and was quickly promoted to Sales Consultant for the team’s senior sales team and WNBA’s Indiana Fever.

Davenport is a graduate of the McCormack School of Sport Management at UMass-Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management, is actively engaged in the non-profit sector and currently resides in Fort Lauderdale.
